A fatal accident had both Westbound lanes of Pacific Coast Highway closed near Topanga Canyon Boulevard for hours Thursday night, April 28.
The accident occurred around 8:30 p.m., when a motorcyclist was struck and killed, according to reports from the L.A. Daily News.
The Daily News said the victim was a 40-year-old man who died of his injuries at the scene of the accident. Multiple calls from The Malibu Times to the California Highway Patrol have gone unanswered.
A City of Malibu public alert sent Thursday night reported westbound PCH was closed from Topanga to Coastline Drive. It is reported the roadway did not reopen until 1:18 a.m.
