Melissa Mathison, known for writing films such as “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial” and “The Indian in the Cupboard,” has listed her Zen-themed Malibu mansion at nearly $10 million.
The 3,940-square-foot gated home is listed at $9.995 million and contains six bedrooms and five bathrooms.Â
“There are 84 feet of ocean bluff frontage and deeded beach access,” according to the Los Angeles Times.
Public records show the gated property previously sold in 2003 for $5.8 million.
Mathison was married to Harrison Ford from 1983 until their divorce in 2004. They have two children together, Malcom, 26, and Georgia, 22.
