Eloise DeJoria, Dominic Scott Kay and Robert Forster star in "Grampa's Cabin."

Dominic Scott Kay is just 11-years-old, but the Malibu resident is already directing his second short film, which he also wrote and stars in. Called “Grampa’s Cabin,” the short co-stars Robert Forster and Eloise DeJoria. It has a cast and crew of approximately 30 people, and was filmed over a two-day period earlier this month. Proceeds from the movie will go to “Starlight Starbright Children’s Foundation,” a charity that benefits children with cancer.

“Saving Angelo,” starring Kevin Bacon and Eric Close, was the first short Dominic directed. Made when he was nine, it is premiering next month and will be shown at film festivals around the country this year. It has also been submitted to the Sundance Film Festival.
