Cornucopia Foundation’s Environmental Learning center (ELC) and native garden, located on Morning View Dr., welcomed the Malibu community and visitors to an open house on Saturday morning.
Co-founder and president Debra Bianco led the group on an educational tour of the grounds, including hummingbird and butterfly gardens.
Visitors filled a sachet with pinches of a variety of fragrant plants such as lavender, rosemary, Mexican marigold, hummingbird sage and lemon verbena as a keepsake.
After the tour, guests enjoyed a cornucopia delight of snacks and refreshments.
The Cornucopia Foundation’s ELC is open to the public. Check its schedule to reserve a time for students or to host an event.
The Cornucopia Foundation hosts educational classes and is available to all teachers and students.
