Malibu and the rest of Los Angeles County is under a Red Flag Warning until 6 p.m. Sunday evening for weather posing extreme fire danger. The city is also under a High Wind Watch, with winds between 50-60 m.p.h., until 3 p.m. Sunday.
In response, the City of Malibu has closed Charmlee Wilderness Park and Trancas Canyon Park until 6 p.m. Sunday when the warning is expected to expire. If the warning is extended, the parks are expected to remain closed.
