On March 9, “Barefoot” Alberto Perusset completed the Los Angeles Marathon with more than 20,000 other runners. This was his 49th barefoot marathon and 88th race overall. It marked his 11th consecutive LA marathon and 39th edition of the race.
He finished the 26.2-mile course from Dodger Stadium to Santa Monica in five hours and 27 minutes. Perusset’s next race will be the Orange County Marathon on May 4.
