The Malibu Arts Festival is celebrating 42 years of art and music this weekend at the Malibu Civic Center.

Produced by the Chamber of Commerce, the two-day event will go from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on July 27-28, in front of the Malibu Civic Center. The Optimist Club of Malibu will also be serving a pancake breakfast starting at 8 a.m., according to a release.

The festival features more than 200 award-winning painters, sculptors, photographers, jewelers and artisans. It has been considered “one of the most beautiful outdoor art festivals in the nation,” according to a release.

The festival also includes an entertainment stage featuring original musicians, a children’s workshop and a food truck terrace.

Members of the Chamber of Commerce will also be sharing their businesses in the Chamber Village section.

Admission is free, and there is limited free parking. There will be additional parking for $10 in a lot adjacent to the festival.
