The Kids 4 Hydrogen team makes a pit stop at Santa Monica Place on Aug. 10 during their 10-day California tour, traveling from San Diego to Santa Cruz, to demonstrate the availability of clean, zero-emissions technology. Founded in 2004, Kids 4 Hydrogen is an educational outreach nonprofit organization giving demonstrations of how fuel cells work and presenting hydrogen full cell vehicles on well-publicized tours. Its hope is to encourage the development of sustainable energy infrastructure to meet the world’s needs by 2015. The director of Kids 4 Hydrogen is Malibu native Susan Tatsui-D’Arcy.
