City of Malibu &Fire Department Rebuilding Consultations – City Hall – Tuesdays & Thursdays 8AM – 12
The Fire Rebuild Counter is open every day to assist residents with any questions related to rebuilding their homes, cleaning up their property, placing temporary structures, and more. An L.A. County Fire Department official is stationed at City Hall every Tuesday and Thursday, 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM to offer specific guidance on Fire Department requirements for rebuilding. The City has hired additional professional contract staff to support the Planning, Public Works and Building Safety Department rebuilding activities.
City of Malibu – City Council Budget Approval Discussions – Permit Fees
Ongoing discussions to determine whether or not the City will waive or reduce rebuilding permit fees. Please check Malibu Times for status or check City Council minutes.

Disaster Response & Recovery Ad Hoc Committee Community Meeting
Mayor Pro Tem Karen Farrer and Councilmember Mikke Pierson, the Council’s Disaster Response and Recovery Ad Hoc Committee, host the committee’s third public community meeting at City Hall.All are welcome to attend to share stories, ideas, and insights, and ask questions with the goal of understanding the Woolsey Fire disaster and helping the community and the City be better prepared for future disasters.
