The Malibu Senior Center is still accepting reservations for its April Excursion to Culver City’s museums on Friday, April 22.
Busses will leave the Senior Center at 10:15 a.m. and travel first to the Wende Museum — an art museum, historical archive and educational institution of the Cold War period. Founded in 2002, it boasts a collection of over 100,000 unique objects from the Soviet Union and former Eastern Bloc.
After the museum, participants will be served Brazilian cuisine during lunch at Cafe Brazil.
The group will then visit the Museum of Jurassic Technology, which is dedicated to advancing knowledge and public appreciation of what they call the “Lower Jurassic” through things that are uncertain and unexplained.
Last, the group will stop at the Center for Land Use Interpolation to learn about how the nation’s lands are apportioned, utilized and perceived before returning to the Senior Center at 5 p.m.
The cost of the trip is $40, and reservations can be made by calling 310.456.2489
