The City of Malibu’s annual Easter Hoppening event, originally planned for this Friday, has been delayed to next Friday, March 30, due to rainfall. The event, hosted for children ages one to 10 and their families, will begin at 3 p.m. at Malibu Bluffs Park.

Those in attendance will be able to participate in interactive class demonstrations with Parker Anderson Enrichment and Kidz Love Soccer, free of charge.

Children will need an event pass to access the egg hunt, bounce houses, Makers Mess art activity and photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny and another special character. Participants can either purchase an event pass for $5 or bring a box of crayons to earn a free pass. The crayons will be donated to local nonprofit Crayon Collection.

Participants can also have their faces painted by Fancy Pantz Face & Body Art or wear a flower crown from Cake & Punch for an extra fee.

Armando’s Food Truck and LA Donut Dessert Truck will also be at the event.

The timed egg hunt features a special prize for children.
