Celebrating the 100-year anniversary of the discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb, Egypt is presenting a world tour of “King Tut: Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh” with its premier at the California Science Center. The exhibition store features the newest publication from Malibu native Dominique Navarro, “King Tut; An Artist’s Coloring Book” by AUC Press (American University in Cairo Press, 2018).
ABOUT DOMINIQUE: Dominique Navarro is an Emmy Award winning Art Director, has numerous publications with AUC Press, and currently works in Egypt as an Epigraphic Artist documenting the hieroglyphs and artworks in Luxor’s ancient temples and antiquities.
ABOUT the EXHIBITION: The California Science Center is hosting the world premiere of “King Tut: Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh”–the largest King Tut exhibition ever toured with over 150 authentic artifacts from King Tut’s celebrated tomb–60 of which have never traveled outside of Egypt until now. The artifacts will tour the world before going on permanent display at the new Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo.
