Ronald Vincent Rocco died in his sleep on Dec. 2 at his home in Malibu. He was 55 years old.
Born May 9, 1953, Rocco grew up in Pacific Palisades and attended Marquez Elementary, Paul Revere Junior High School and Palisades High School. He graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts and studied law before launching his real estate career in the mid seventies.
Rocco began working at Hernandez Realty in Marina del Rey before joining Jon Douglas Company, which was later acquired by Coldwell Banker, in Santa Monica. He became known as ‘the Broker to the Brokers” and helped many of his clients buy their first homes. He later developed wealth through the acquisition of real estate.
Rocco is survived by his wife, Stephanie, son, Jack, daughter, Kim, mother, Norma, and brother, Randal. A memorial service will take place on Dec. 12 at 2 p.m. at Saint Monica’s, 725 California Ave., in Santa Monica.
