A pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle on Pacific Coast Highway near Corral Canyon Road Thursday afternoon.
According to Sgt. Wright of Lost Hills/Malibu Sheriff’s Station, the pedestrian, who may have suffered a broken leg, was transported to a hospital.
“[It] didn’t sound like anything more than an accident,” Wright said. Deputies were finishing their on-site investigation around 1 p.m.
Contrary to an earlier alert from the City of Malibu, Wright denied that any street closures had taken place.
