The City of Malibu has been awarded a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada for the 18th year in a row.
The city earned the award for its Fiscal Year 2017-18 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report.
“The City of Malibu is committed to the highest levels of transparency and accountability to the community and responsible management of taxpayer dollars,” Mayor Karen Farrer shared in a statement. “Receiving this award for the 18th time demonstrates unequivocally that the city staff delivers on that promise every day, year after year.”
