Two people were arrested under suspicion of driving under the influence at a DUI checkpoint in Malibu on Friday night. The checkpoint was set up at Pacific Coast Highway at John Tyler Drive.
At the checkpoint, a total of 1,110 cars passed through. In addition to the DUI arrests, two people were arrested on warrants, 15 driver’s license citations were given out and six cars were impounded.
The checkpoint was funded by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety.
