The Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station will conduct a DUI/driver’s license checkpoint in Malibu Nov. 9 between 7:30 p.m. and 3:30 a.m. Officials will be contacting drivers passing through the checkpoint to look for signs of alcohol or drug impairment, as well as making sure drivers are properly licensed, according to a release from the sheriff’s department.
The checkpoint is funded by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
