The school district Board of Education is holding two meetings at Malibu City Hall in the coming week, giving Malibu residents a chance to make their voices heard on education issues in their back yard.
On Monday from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., new superintendent Sandra Lyon will give the annual State of Our Schools report, which will include information on student achievement, new programs and the district’s financial status. Principals from Malibu High School and the three Malibu elementary schools will give reports on their schools.
On Wednesday, the school board will return to Malibu City Hall for its regular meeting at 6 p.m.
