Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and Management conferred an honorary Doctorate of Business degree to Malibu resident Jeff Stibel, vice chair of Dun & Bradstreet. Stibel also delivered the commencement address at the Graziadio School’s Dec. 5 graduation ceremony.
Stibel played a major role in creating the Entrepreneurial Vision Partnership, a collaboration between Dun & Bradstreet and Pepperdine to conduct economic research and develop a specialized curriculum that focuses on the needs and success metrics of entrepreneurs in the 21st century economy. The partnership also produces immersion opportunities for Graziadio students, including paid internships in Dun & Bradstreet’s corporate programs.
“In recognition of Jeff’s business achievements and commitment to giving back to the community, it is with great honor that we will present him with an honorary Doctor of Business degree,” David Smith, PhD, Dean of the Graziadio Business School said in a press release by the university.
