Malibu residents Macey Vanderlip, 6, a and her older sister Tiffany Vanderlip, 14, recently finished competing in the World Off Road Championship Series. The girls teamed up with motorcross legend and four-time champion Gary Jones and his race team. After traveling the Western United States and competing in all 10 events, the girls both won championships. Macey rode her KTM 50 to win the 50cc 4-6 championship, earning her $500 from KTM. Her older sister, Tiffany, rode her Yamaha 125 to win the girls 12-15 and the women’s B class.
Macey is a first-grader at Webster Elementary School. Tiffany is a freshman at Malibu High School.
