Pepperdine students got the slightest hint of actual winter weather on Thursday during a welcome back to classes when the school used 15 tons of shaved ice to create a mini-snow-day in the Smothers Theatre parking lot.
Students enjoyed free warm drinks, live music, food trucks and, of course, sledding. The event was organized by Pepperdine’s Student Programming Board. Browse photos from the event at left.
