The twentieth anniversary of “Chick Singer Night,” an international performance network for female artists, will take place at Pepperdine University’s Smothers Theatre on March 25.
Headlined by Grammy-winning singer Paula Cole, the evening is also a fundraiser to benefit Breathe-A Foundation for the Artist. The event welcomes all female singers, styles of music and levels of experience, who, accompanied by the CSN band, perform their music before a live audience.
The first CSN took place in 1988 in Chicago and since then has spread its wings across the country. It is now a national, monthly or quarterly event in Boston, New Jersey, Chicago, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Florida, Tennessee and New York, and has inspired CSN alumni to support singers and songwriters with similar spinoff showcases through the years.
