Malibu resident Debra “Debby” Jean Forrester passed away Nov. 15 due to a stroke suffered on May 10.
Forrester was born on April 11, 1958. She and her husband, Randy, moved to Malibu in 2007 from Northern California to be closer to their children, and now, their grandchildren.
“Debby was a beautiful, free spirit and she cherished her family, nature and living by the ocean,” a loved one shared. “She put a special touch on everything she did and everyone loved her for adding that little something extra.”
Some of her hobbies included taking care of her garden, fish pond and all of the birds she attracted to her home. Music was also very important to Forrester. When she was happy, she was always singing and humming — or warbling, as her husband affectionately called it.
“She is gone too soon and is going to be profoundly missed by her family, friends and everyone lucky enough to have met and known her,” a family member said.
