The 2015 Malibu Library Speaker Series will conclude on Wednesday, Nov. 4 with a presentation by author and Malibu native Norman Ollestad.
Ollestad’s 2009 bestseller, “Crazy For the Storm: A Memoir of Survival,” recounts his journey to safety as the lone survivor of a plane crash in the California mountains at age 11.
The Malibu Library Speaker Series is a program of the County of Los Angeles Public Library, Malibu Branch, and the City of Malibu that features talks by experts on a wide range of subjects, including education, arts, literature, science, sports and more.
The event is free and open to the public and will include refreshments. RSVPs are required to attend. Contact Community Library Manager Melissa Stallings for more information at 310.456.6438. The performance will take place at 7 p.m. at the Malibu Library.
