Actresses Leah Remini, Jennifer Lopez and her two children were involved in a hit-and-run accident on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu on Saturday around 4:20 p.m., according to Lt. Jim Royal with the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff Station.
Remini had been driving Lopez’s SUV near the 22700 block of PCH near Nobu Restaurant when a male driving a small pickup truck rear-ended the vehicle. Both vehicles pulled over, assessed minor damage and began to exchange driver information before the male driver turned to his pickup truck and drove off.
Deputies had received a call about the accident and stopped the driver of the pickup truck a short distance away and determined he was under the influence, according to Lt. Royal.
The driver of the pickup truck was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
No injuries were reported.
