More than 1, 000 students from the Santa Monica Malibu Unified School District performed Friday night at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. The event, called “Stairway of the Stars,” in its 55th year run, brings together high school, middle school and elementary school members in evening of music. Hundreds of relatives, friends and community members were in attendance.
