Every town has its own local heroes. These are people that are not famous, but work tirelessly for the community. No ego, and not looking for credit, but wanting to participate rather than just complain.
In Malibu one of our heroes was Les Moss, who passed away suddenly on Dec. 25. He was a friend who never held back, my campaign treasurer in two elections, president of his homeowner’s association, Planning Commissioner and actively involved in other ways in our community.
All who knew him will miss him.
