The City of Malibu has released the sample ballot pamphlets for the April 2014 municipal elections.
The upcoming election on April 8 will decide who fills the two city council seats currently up for grabs in Malibu.
Sample ballots are designed to provide a preview of official ballots to help voters decide which candidates they will choose on election night. They include information on city council candidates and a calendar of important dates. Also included in the packet is a vote by mail application for interested registered voters.
The five candidates for Malibu City Council are newcomers June Louks, Andy Lyon and Hamish Patterson, as well as incumbents Laura Zahn Rosenthal and Lou La Monte.
