I am one more Malibuite who will miss Ozzie Silna sorely. When I first heard him decades ago, I thought he was someone’s poor, disgruntled New York uncle. He could, indeed, be disgruntled at times, but for all the right things.
He was an incredible gift to Malibu in ways that are too plentiful to enumerate.
It is so sad that we don’t have a place to gather, remember him and swap Ozzie stories. He lives on in our hearts and in the preservation of the good and beautiful here.
My deepest condolences to his family members I don’t have the privilege of knowing.
