A structure fire was reported at 6:56 p.m. in the 5900 block of Filaree Heights Avenue, according to a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department. The structure in question is described to be a “back guest house.”

As of 7:29 p.m., fire and sheriff’s department personnel were on the scene. Lt. Mendoza of the Lost Hills/Malibu Sheriff’s Station confirmed the fire does not seem to threaten other structures in the area.

According to the National Weather Service, north wind gusts are expected to reach 10-15 m.p.h., possibly as high as 20 m.p.h.
