Chris Briscoe was honored at a recent Malibu Woman’s Club event for her 30-year commitment to the Malibu Woman’s Club’s charter in a variety of roles. Club member Lynne Greiss presented Brisco with the award at the club’s annual scholarship fundraiser at the Bel Air Bay Club. She described Briscoe’s three decades of service to the Malibu organization and explained the many things she has done for the club and the community.
Malibu City Councilmember John Sibert also presented Briscoe with the City of Malibu Commendation for her service to the Malibu community.
Briscoe has most recently served as the club’s historian and publicity chair. She has also serve as president, vice president of fundraising and vice president of membership.
The Malibu Woman’s Club has served the community by offering scholarships to its youth for more than 50 years.
