55 Pacific Coast Highway, Suite A102, will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 25, and Friday, Nov. 26 in observance of Thanksgiving.
The closure will not affect editorial deadlines. People items and sports briefs will be due on Monday, Nov. 29, at 10 a.m., while letters to the editor, obituaries, calendar items, and news briefs will be accepted through noon on Tuesday, Nov. 30. The deadline to reserve advertising space is Monday, Nov. 30, at noon.
Malibu City Hall and Community Pool will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 25, and the following day. As per Malibu Municipal Code, construction is prohibited on city holidays, including Thanksgiving (though it may resume on Friday, Nov. 26). Malibu Library will also remain closed Thursday and Friday.
Trancas and Charmlee Wilderness parks will be closed from Wednesday morning, Nov. 24, through Friday evening, Nov. 26, due to Red Flag conditions.
All Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District campuses will be closed on Thursday and Friday as well.
