Nonprofit 4 the Village put on a production of Peter Pan, which was held at a private resident’s home in Point Dume. The grassy hill in front of the stage was lined with blankets and towels, as family and friends sat to watch the second performance.
Children ages 4-8 participated in the production, directed by Nikki and Ethan White. The two aspired “to create a real life Neverland.”
As a unique approach to ballet and dance, the couple began to include parents and anyone else who wanted to volunteer.
Malibu violinist and composer Maria Newman joined the band of merry making, volunteering her time and musical talent to the performances.
The next 4 the Village production dance camp will begin after Labor Day, with a show in November. For more information, email info@4thevillage.org or visit 4thevillage.org
