Los Angeles-based law firm Greenberg Glusker recently announced that prominent intellectual property and technology attorney Steven Weinberg has joined the firm as a partner. He previously worked for six years at Greenberg Traurig, where he was a partner in intellectual property, entertainment, technology and new media, as well as litigation. Prior to that, he was a partner in firms in New York and Arizona.
Weinberg has practiced law for more than 20 years. He is one of the first lawyers in the country to specialize in Internet and e-commerce business law. He has edited legal publications and been elected by his peers to several top lawyer lists.
Weinberg is a 1980 graduate of the St. John’s University School of Law in New York, where he graduated cum laude and served as articles editor of the Law Review.
Weinberg lives in Malibu with his wife Dana, a former PTA president at Point Dume Marine Science Elementary School, and their daughter.
