Juan Cabrillo Elementary school girls squeal with anticipation for performance of Austin and Trevor McCarthy.Â
A family friendly fundraiser was held at Juan Cabrillo Elementary School to help raise money for 4th and 5th grade student field trips. Local musicians Austin and Trevor McCarthy entertained the group, as did progressive rock group Dume, a trio made up of locals, Gannon Earhart, Ian Hall and Daniel Kotlyar. Principle Dr. Pam Herkner joined the fun with a lesson on hip hop and pop by the McCarthys. D’Amores food truck served up slices of their famous pizza pie and snacks, and souvenirs were available for purchase, all to benefit the 4th and 5th grade students. Over 1,500 dollars was raised for students to attend a Disney Concert behind the scenes and other outings.Â
