David Aubrey Richardson died on Feb. 26 of prostate cancer. He was 77 years old.
A 34-year resident of Malibu, Richardson was born in Coogee, Australia. At the age of 15, he apprenticed as a lithographer, and left Australia at age 22 to see the world. He lived in London for two years, Toronto for 13 and then the U.S.
Richardson retired at age 62 from Anderson Litho, where he worked for more than 20 years. He played golf from the age of 8 and was a longtime member of Sunset Hills Country Club.
Richardson is survived by his wife Stephanie, of Malibu; son Mark and grandson Hunter, of Park City, Utah.
