Zero the Hero, also known as Al Pepito, stopped by Patti Mehring and Nancy Jordan’s kindergarten and first grade classes for a surprise educational visit last week at Juan Cabrillo Elementary. In celebration of the 100th day of school, they counted to 100 by fives and tens and danced for 100 seconds.
