Malibu, you’re known for mudslides, but this council campaign against Roy Van de Hoek is exceeding your reputation. Developers, threats, allegations, smear campaigns! You’re starting to look a lot like Santa Monica. Blessed with mountains, beaches and an uncluttered lifestyle, is that what you want?
The issue is development. A vote for the environment is a vote for your own future, and those of us down the coast a bit will thank you, too.
