The Malibu Jewish Center & Synagogue hosted the fourth annual Hand in Hand Winter Formal Dance this weekend, an all-ability event. The formal event is a joyous evening for teens and young people in the community and was co-sponsored by Windwong Trust, Malibu Special Education Foundation and the MJCS.
“It was very moving to see everyone dancing and celebrating life together,” Cantor Marcelo Gindlin described. “Tall, short, thin—even in wheelchairs—everyone has the ability to express love through dancing—no matter their abilities.”
