After going 3-1 last week and winning seven of their last eight games, the Pepperdine Waves baseball team earned the 28th ranking in the Collegiate Baseball Top 30 poll.
Along with the Collegiate Baseball Poll, the Waves are also receiving votes in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Poll and the USA Today Coaches Top 25 Poll.
Pepperdine currently has an overall record of 20-7 and 7-2 record in the West Coast Conference while they have a 2-1 record against ranked teams. Seventh ranked Cal Poly is the only ranked opponent remaining on the Waves schedule.
Pepperdine takes on UC Irvine at home Tuesday then travels to Saint Mary’s for a three game series.Â
