Malibu High School choir students parent volunteers ran a “Lemon-aid” stand on Sunday to raise funds for the Save Our Schools campaign to help save music teacher jobs. Two MHS music teachers received pink slips this year due to Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District budget cuts.
The students performed a variety of songs, including some original works composed by the students, while customers enjoyed fresh-squeezed lemonade. For more information on the Save Our Shools campaign, go to www.smmef.org.
