The [Malibu] Farmers Market has provided a sense of community for many decades. Los Angeles County needs to honor its prior agreements in keeping the market as-is during construction. There are numerous possibilities in allowing the market to run at full capacity during this short time period, including but not limited to the Chili Cook-Off site. I respectfully request that all agencies, governmental and private sector, work together in trying to solve these smaller matters for the bigger benefit to the community.Â
