Young Trumpet Player Recognized

Local resident Angel Diaz was nominated for a music award at the Sixth Annual Malibu Music Festival and Awards Show on Oct. 19. The ceremony took place at Pepperdine University’s Smothers Theatre. Diaz received recognition for his outstanding musical achievement from the music teachers of the district.

Diaz began playing the trumpet when he was nine years old and it has remained his passion since then. He attends Webster Elementary School.
