The Malibu Optimist Club presented an $800 donation to Tarek Shraibati, scoutmaster of the Malibu Boy Scout Troop 224, at its meeting last week. The donation will be used to fund two summer camp scholarships for the troop.
The local club has been sponsoring Troop 224 for more than three decades.
