Our Lady of Malibu (OLM) School students received their certificates of training after completing a six-week training electives in conflict transformation and peer mediator coaching through the Justice 4 Youth program.

Justice 4 Youth was created by Amora Fisher Ph.D., M.D.R., and part of ONE P.E.A.C.E. and Justice center of Malibu in collaboration with the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University School of Law. Programs teach students ways to resolve disputes with peers, teachers and staff, and involve monthly Peace Talk Circles for ongoing discussion.

OLM School also held a Create Peace art contest, to which students submitted art portraying peace and conflict resolution.

OLM School plans to continue the program, next year and work toward educating students about peace in schools.
