Malibu has very interesting residents including movie producers, singers—the best creative people anywhere.
In my view, among the most important residents we have are Dr. and Mrs. Andrew Benton of Pepperdine University.
Dr. Benton consistently gives very eloquent speeches, always delivered with the utmost of humility.
Both spend their every day on campus year round, molding and shaping young people to go out in the world and make a positive difference. This impact is felt far beyond the boundaries of Pepperdine University.
Please arrange for your staff to interview these wonderful people and thereby give the rest of us an idea of their work and their backgrounds. I ask everyone reading these lines to quietly pray for their son, Christopher Benton, and his now sadly passed friend Katie Wilkins and that his life will dramatically change for the better and that Katie Wilkins’ family quickly will heal from the devastating loss of a fine, young daughter.
