In response to “Alert in Malibu” published on Oct. 18
My name is Mahmood. I am responding to the letter “Alert in Malibu” about mosquitoes. If it is true that “mosquito-borne viruses have been circulating in California for more than a century,” then I call on city council to hold seminars and take other self-help measures to help residents. The pool at my condo complex has many mosquitoes and the residents are very scared. One neighbor suffered severe bites and received a fever.
