    The Malibu Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution welcomed its most recent member, Allison Ray, during the group’s annual Colonial Cooking event. The event included a colonial buffet prepared by members, using 18th century recipes including salmagundi composed salad, pink bean soup and Indian bread pudding. Beverages that were popular during and before the American Revolution were also served, such as Wassail hot cider punch and wine.
