Johanna Spinks, the artist behind The Malibu Times series “The Face of Malibu,” has created a personal fundraising goal of $10,000 through portraits for the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN), one of the largest organizations of its kind in the U.S. She plans to paint 8 x 8 inch portraits for a donation of $200, calling the project “The Face of #MeToo.” She hopes to receive commissions–and support–from people around the country.
Spinks hopes to help by donating 100 percent of proceeds to RAINN.
As of Monday, Spinks had already raised $1,950 toward her goal.
