The Pepperdine University Center for the Arts Guild raised more than $14,500 at its annual Holiday Boutique and Luncheon, which took place last month at the Bistro Garden at Coldwater in Studio City.

One hundred thirty guests attended the event, which honored longtime Malibu resident Dorothy Stotsenberg for her many years of service to the Guild.

Before the luncheon, attendees were invited to shop for gift items in a boutique that included wreaths donated by several of the Guild members.

A special musical selection was performed during the luncheon by Tim Callobre, winner of the 2009 Parkening Young Guitarist Competition held at Pepperdine.

Proceeds from the boutique and luncheon benefit Pepperdine’s ARTSReach Program, which provides free performing and visual arts experiences to thousands of Los Angeles-area schoolchildren annually.
